Matt - Gemologist
Born in Michigan, after finishing my college education,
and receiving a B.S. degree in Geology, I moved to Utah in 1981 to work
in the oil fields.
Because of my interest in rocks, I gravitated towards the jewelry industry.
I have fifteen years experience, and in 1996, I received my Gemologist
diploma from the Gemological Institute of America. I love to talk about
diamonds and colored gemstones with our customers. I also enjoy doing
jewelry appraisals for our organization.
When it comes to jewelry, there is no such thing as a stupid question! |

Lance |

I was born in Nephi, Utah, graduating from Juab High School in 1969. I went to college at Southern Utah State University for 1 year before serving an
LDS mission in the North of England. I then spent 2 years at BYU, until moving to Phoenix, AZ as a jewelry store manager.
I started silversmithing while living in Salt Lake City in 1975. Learning the trade of goldsmithing, in Phoenix, I worked for 4 years with Ron Price
Jewelry Design helping customers design custom rings and then making them for them. After leaving Ron Price I worked for myself making custom jewelry
until coming to Williams. Having 28 years in the jewelry industry as a goldsmith, I have seen many happy faces as our customers have picked up their
new pieces of jewelry. That is my motivation to be in the jewelry business. |

Greg |

I have been a bench jeweler for 23 years on four different benches.
I began casting and cutting cabashons for my own designs at 14 as a hobby.
I started working for trade and jewelery stores at age eighteen.
I have always strived to have any piece of jewelry that crosses my bench
to leave as good or better than when it arrived. |
